If we haven't worked with you before, spending some time with us at the outset will enable us to get under the skin of your company and mean we can help refine the brief if you want us to.
Competition for great candidates has never been tighter, so you need to be clear about what you're looking for and also about why they should be desperate to work with you, whether that's because you could wallpaper your reception in D&AD awards, or because you (unusually) don't expect them to work 14-hour days (with a reduction to 10-hour days at weekends, and a curry thrown in if they're lucky).
We won't shower you with CVs (it would only irritate you and keep you from all the other things you should be doing): instead we'll choose those few candidates who not only match the qualification and experience requirements you've specified but who will also complement your culture.
