Experienced Front End Developer / Interface Developer - Jquery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX. Award Winning Digital Agency

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced front end developer to join one of the most passionate and exciting web development teams in digital advertising.

As an experienced Front end developer your primary focus will be to lead the agencies XHTML, CSS and Javascript output. You will be working in a collaborative way with other developers and ensuring that the back-end developers can focus on server side code whilst you lead on the front end development. You will also provide best practice advice to the rest of the development team to ensure all coded output exceeds industry standards. The development team is integral to the development of concepts and ideas, as well as interaction design and coding so you will also play a part in scoping out new projects. Being a nimble team there is likely to be occasions when you will be required to help our on the backend so some PHP experience would be advantageous

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

* Leading XHTML, CSS and javascript production, on business-critical projects

* Ensuring the successful delivery of such projects, at every key milestone

* Overseeing the maintenance of long-term projects

* Creating rapid prototypes for proof of concept and R&D projects

* Identifying opportunities to enhance our process and contributing to the agencies standard code libraries



Your Experience

Youll need:

* Proven experience of hand coding XHTML and CSS

* Expertise in JavaScript and AJAX development with JQuery

* Thorough knowledge of W3C Accessibility standards, cross browser compliance and testing

* Ability to collaborate with designers to find the best approach to overcome technical challenges

* Expertise integrating front end with back end PHP and C# .NET

* Knowledge and experience of Facebook development

* At least 3 years of commercial development for blue chip clients, in an agency environment

* A passion for experimenting with the latest technology including HTML5 and CSS3

* A portfolio of exciting and inspirational work

* A good appreciation of IA, usability, interaction design and accessibility
