This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PHP developer with previous lead or management experience to take charge of great team of PHP Developers within an established Digital Agency. <br/>

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years commercial programming experience with PHP and SQL building web application and will have an excellent grasp of programming principles ( Object Orientation, Design Patterns, MVC ). Along with an excellent background in hands on development it is ESSENTIAL you have previous experience Leading and managing a team. As a PHP technical manager you will bridge the gap between technical definitions/requirements and non-technical client requirements, good verbal communication skills are essential along with good written communication skills. You will have previously written coherent documents that can be used in a technical build by developers.



As an experienced PHP Technical Manager you will define project technical requirements for client projects, translate requirements into coherent project documents and estimate timings for technical builds for client proposals.



On a day to day basis the PHP Technical Manager will transfer and consult with PHP coders during the implementation process to manage good technical decisions according to project requirements.

As the PHP Technical Manager you will be responsible for reviewing team members code and QC and troubleshoot bugs/issues with unfamiliar codebases on development and live servers.

It is essential you have experience of managing the build of Websites and applications that utilize PHP frameworks such as Symfony, PHP Cake, Codeigniter etc.
