The worlds largest e-commerce company is on the lookout for a strong digital art director
Founded in 1995, the e-commerce company has come a long way from selling books to now managing with technology and retail transactions.
The latest project that the digital designers will be working on is the digital e-book reader.
The digital art director will be leading a small team of three technologically driven flash apt individuals. Every designer will be bi-lingual and this international team will grow to a size of 8 by the end of the year.
The digital art director will be reporting to the head of digital design who guides the European team. Working on the worlds largest e-book reader, the senior digital flash designer will be the creative force in the team whilst getting their hands dirty with the latest technology.
The rich media platforms that the senior digital designer will be working with are Eyeblaster, FlashTalking and DoubleClick.
Photoshop and Illustrator will be the software packages that are second nature to the senior digital designer as well as solid skills in AS2 and AS3.
Banners, MPUs, mobile and flash work for cream of the crop clients are the types of work that the senior digital designer will have in his portfolio.
A language is highly desirable and the client will consider a strong senior digital designer who is looking to take a step up in their career.

Are you a solo Middleweight Art Director looking to be teamed up with a copywriter? We have freelance and permanent creative team roles available.
The Freelance Middleweight Art Director will be going in with a copywriter as a creative team. You may be working on bread and butter work or a nail biting pitch. Brands will vary depending on the project. You will be expected to hit the ground running and be flexible in your attitude. Therefore the ability to communicate is essential for the brief to be stretched as far as possible between the two of you.
You may be required to create loose scamps or visualise on a Mac. The ability to work fast and effectively is therefore essential.
You will have Middleweight experience as an Art Director from an ATL, BTL or Integrated background. Ideally you will have freelanced before. Your portfolio will have a diverse mix of mediums and brands. You will naturally be detail orientated and deadline focused. Ideally you will be able to scamp fast and effectively. If you can Mac up your visuals then this will be desirable quality. You will be happy to be set up with a copywriter however if you have an existing copywriter to team up then even better.

The digital art director will be leading a team of 3 tech savvy flash designers who enjoy working with like minded individuals on the latest technology. The team of flash designers will expand to a size of 8 by the end of the year although some of the designers may be based in Germany.
